Rotten Tomatoes reasoning to do away with the "want to see it" section of movie and TV title pages holds some weight, however, doing so for a particular movie that is just days away from release and making rounds in the media does not paint them in the best of light as they come across as trying to rid of freedom of speech, the whole situation is silly though - on both sides, really. And DC-Fan - do not like this comment, you've identified me as a "dumb MCU fan" before so why you would be liking my comment anyway is nothing short of puzzling and hypocritical, so do not bother. I assume that it was because idiots were attacking 'Star Wars: Episode 9'. When a film that was 10 months away from its release got attacked in a similar fashion, RottenTomatoes probably thought they couldn't let such things to continue.

That's not a good look for any websites.

RT is protecting Captain Marvel and punishing Alita Battle Angel. They are blocking reviews written for Alita from audiences since Monday. And this claim has aged like milk.

And this whole thread has aged like milk as ‘The Lion King’ is at low-50s on RottenTomatoes.

And now, ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ sits at whopping 54% on RottenTomatoes. You know, part of me is kind of happy that this happened because this is pretty much THE final nail in the coffin for this retarded claim.

Yeah, we can provide plenty of examples of Disney movies that received poor reviews and ratings, but the trolls always have some kind of lame counter-argument for this though. Something about them sacrificing the positive ratings of some of their other movies to continue to make MCU movies look good so that it doesn't seem too obvious or some other insane logic that makes no sense. Like they would sacrifice potential positive ratings for Lion King, Aladdin, Star Wars, etc. just to keep the MCU scorecard all fresh. Anything to justify their bitterness.

And even that “sacrifice” claim is now in the toilet since ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ is ONE film that Disney couldn’t afford to fail. Not to mention that critics are clearly NOT biased towards Disney since they weren’t fond of a lot of films from the said studio.

But as all non retards know, Rotten Tomatoes doesn't review or give scores to movies.
