They would have faired better if they hadn't been placed in Zack Snyder's hands. But hey, the last two installments have been successful...and wouldn't you know, Zack Snyder wasn't really involved.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, a major improvement in effects alone would make them better. They look terribly fake, especially for a studio as big as Warner Bros.
And oddly enough, the "best movie" in the DCEU was Snyder's baby. MoS is the best acted of them all.
