www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-47402200A senior police officer who spent almost 30 years working in Northern Ireland is surprised at the level of sectarianism in Scottish football. Deputy Chief Constable Will Kerr, who joined Police Scotland six months ago, described the problem as "almost visceral". Mr Kerr also warned that offensive behaviour at Scottish football matches had increased in the last year. Recent incidents include officers being attacked and spat on. The Scottish Police Authority board meeting heard a police horse also required treatment after it was hit with a flare........

Some top quality fuckwittery from P&B, worth sharing here I feel - "I want to make absolutely clear that when everyone was singing "My Old Man's a Provo" they were singing about the Easter Rising and not the Provisionals." I don't believe in criminalising people for singing songs, I do believe that sporting organisations should have standards with their members must maintain, though. These WAFFLEs have to go. Who or what are P&B?

I don't care which Provos they're singing about (though I do indeed think this guy is lying), I care about the fact that they're singing songs celebrating killing people at Scottish football matches. If you can't see anything wrong with this, there's no hope for you. Songs of defiance... The orangemen sing songs celebrating the slaughter of untold thousands of Irish and Catholics at football matches in Alba. We're a religious minority in the UK, and feeling increasingly under attack since Brexshit gave licence for people to enact their prejudices. What do you want us to do?
