Looking ahead to Ash Wednesday next week... do you wear your ashes and holy water for the rest of the day, or wipe them off after Mass?
I will be wearing mine all day.

However, I'll probably be getting them in the evening (though if I do manage to go to Mass in the daytime, I'll be wearing all day).

That's a Protestant thing. |

What about your plans for Mardi Gras? Just another day for me, but I get other traditions' preparations for Ash Wednesday 👍 Even on Mardi Gras, you can still contemplate Our Lord's Sufferings. The day before Ash Wednesday is supposed to be dedicated to the Holy Face Of Our Lord Jesus.
