You don't say
In Australia disney has bought out an entire theatre that will show only captain marvel. people would no longer have a choice but to watch captain marvel the whole week. lol
Same goes in some places in USA, the ONLY movie ticket you can preorder on Fandango on March 8 is in fact Captain Marvel. No other movie ticket can be purchased from the site on March 8. you dont say
Disney is about collapse in on itself.

They did this with black panther having all the screenings in various cinemas showing Black Panther around the clock.
Many cinema purists were unhappy that a lot of mid level and indy movies were being pushed out in favour of black panther and saying it wasnt healthy for the industry as a whole.

Disney’s no stranger to shady business tactics like this. You just have to learn to accept it at this point.

Black people were still going to watch black panther. also the cast of black panther never made stupid comments like brie larson
but this, this is just over the top, see this is why we never wanted disney to buy fox, this is too much power for a studio. it is mafia at this point.
no its not healthy for the industry reason you can trust the media and critics anymore.

call me crazy but I think disney does have a stake in making sure every mcu movies stays fresh on rt. make sense why most critics will call ant man 2 stupid and still give it a fresh, their politics with oscar race baiting and buying awards just more examples.
disney is going against the natural order of things, its only a mater of time before they collapse.
feel bad for people that have season tickets for cinema been forced to watch only captain marvel. this is mafia.

It is a shady practice They’re also monsters when it comes to copyright law, which is really ironic, considering that not only are a lot of their animated films based on pre-existing material, but their most famous film ( The Lion King) is a straight up ripoff of Kimba the White Lion.

Theaters won't care, not a single other film opens wide that weekend. Its also tracking for 150m+. I don't see the problem.

Never knew that. They have almost unlimited resources in their legal department, no one is going to win any notable challenge.
