So... I'm a bit confused. I could have sworn it was frowned upon to hire people based on their sexual preferences and orientation. I could understand wanting to include/introduce a gay character in a movie for diversity but I could see no logical reason why you'd need to interview actors on their sexuality before hiring them. It does seem contradictory. You see so many times the disclaimer that a company has a policy that they don't discriminate based on race, gender, or sexual orientation. Well, hiring only a gay actor means that you're discriminating against all non-gay actors and thus violates the company policy against discrimination. So basically, it's only discrimination if it prevents gay actors from getting hired but not discrimination if it prevent non-gay actors from getting hired. And according to Brie Larson, it's only racism if it prevents non-whites from being on her press tour but it's not racism if it prevents whites from being on her press tour. Hell this is like the Amorphophallus Titanium (Corpse Plant), it only blooms once every 40 years. Well done Dcfan! They grow up so fast...im so happy im weeping
