I can't find anything in the plot description or trailer that looks remotely interesting. It looks like sweet old memories of the director's nanny. Which is nice. But...I just can't find any motivation to see it.

It's light on actual plot, but as a movie geek, I loved it for its simplicity and its images. I loved it but it may not be well-loved by the average movie-goer nearly as much.

"It's a good *TV* movie. Watch Ready Player One instead." - Steven Spielberg Spielberg neversaid there was anything wrong with a movie made for TV. I'm not sure where people get that implication. It must be from all the fake quotes like the one above.

It must be from all the fake quotes like the one above. "TV movies are great if they're Duel. But they and their Netflix equivalents aren't worthy of Oscar nominations, only classic worldwide releases like The Post. Remember The Post? Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks were in it? They find out Nixon wasn't a very nice president? No? Anyway, Make Oscars Great Again and build a eligibility wall for that Mexican." - Steven Spielberg

I have not seen it but I doubt I would think all that much of it given my impression from the trailer etc.
p.s. I have not seen much from Mexico related movies but the best one I have seen off the top of my head... Miss Bala (2011) (6-6.5/10). the lead female in this briefly appeared in (in the beginning of the movie) the James Bond movie Spectre (2015).
