Spuds to bounce back from their last two losses for me...
I'll no be having a punt on them when I have my traditional Saturday morning walk to Mr William Hills though... early kick off innit. The punters cursed game.

'Home' win. That would really go some way towards concreting a top 4 finish for Spurs but would also provide a chance for United to leapfrog Arse into 4th but with a game in hand over United, CFC, if they win their next two and Arse f*** up their next game v United next week, can leapfrog United into 4th. But wait, no they can't. The fixture list doesn't work like that. CFC's game in hand is v Brighton but when the hell is that gonna be played? It's a possible three pointer in limbo, thanks to the League Cup Final. Ack, it's too early for this conjecture crap and either way and whatever is to come, a Spurs win today will do me just fine, mama. Spurs : Lloris, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Trippier, Wanyama, Sissoko, Rose, Eriksen, Kane, Son. Subs: Lamela, Llorente, Gazzaniga, Aurier, Lucas Moura, Davies, Skipp. Arse : Leno, Mustafi, Papastathopoulos, Koscielny, Monreal, Guendouzi, Xhaka, Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Iwobi, Lacazette. Subs: Cech, Ozil, Torreira, Aubameyang, Maitland-Niles, Suarez, Kolasinac. Spurs 11/10 Arse 27/10 Draw 13/5 COICE COICE COICE

And with the announcement of those starting line-ups let's have a look at the latest book.
Spurs into Evens Arse out to 3/1 Draw 13/5 Yes, little wonder at that.
Keown apparently say he is stunned by the Arse line-up which sees 5 changes from the slaughtering of Bournemouth. Suits me, mama.

What a precious mess on '16. Kane attempts to bundle it in from outside the 6 yard box but is hustled off the ball by three away defenders. It's cleared to the halfway line where Sanchez tries to connect his head with it. He fails very badly and Lacazzete pounces on the free ball and sends it on to Ramsey who streaks forth. Wanyama can't catch him. It's a one-on-one situation with Lloris who is rounded by the Arsenal man and the ball is slotted home. Dear oh dear. From Kane attempting to score at one end to Ramsey doing the business at the other. All in the space of less than ten seconds.

Double save from Leno before the break, first from point blank range from Eriksen then from Sissoku. Spurs can't break through.

The ref blows up for the break and the players start to leave the field. But Poch has already left, barrelling towards the tunnel, shaking off his coat and disappearing from view. He's gotta sort out this three-in-the-middle for Spurs. It's a triangle of tedium although in the last ten minutes Spurs have got it forward enough to create three or four very good opportunities.
It's nothing-one.

Bah, they're showing their fans nothing. To drown their sorrows there are some decent pubs away from Wembley with good grub. I can recommend the -
- OOMPH!!! Rose plunges a left boot, studs up, into Leno's chest. He gets a Yellow for that and is fortunate not to get Red. He showed desire, or desperation, to get the ball, but it only costs him a card and an Arse free-kick.

Penalty Spurs!!! Mustafi on Kane, but was Kane offside in the first place?

Kane sends Leno the wrong way for one-all. Is that the kick up the backside that will fire Spurs up? 15 left here.

It's 1-1 but Spurs don't know how to draw in the EPL. This would be their first of the season. 5 left.

Penalty Arsenal. Sanchez on Aberbayong.
LLoris saves!!! Sanchez goes for the rebound in front of open goal but somehow Vertonghen foils him.

Not a lot of quality shown. If you're not a Spud or a Gunner, this was a borefest

Match report in...
Obama Yang looks on real sad after the Tottenham Hotspurs goaltender makes a presidential hand denial to deny a squeaky fanny time deathstrike winning goal shot for the Cannons. The Soccer Chickens hang on in there to complete a 1 to 1 tie at the Wembley Arena.
