Ok episode. Kind of figured it would be a setup type. Surprised at Sams reaction to his father death. His father was an ass.
Best line belonged to Sansa. Tyrion says the last time he seen her was at Joffrey’s wedding which he said was “horrible “ and Sansa said “it had it’s moments “

The real sadness came when he found out his brother died too. That actor did a great job. In the same sense in the preview for next week we see Danys lecturing Jaime about him killing her father. FFS Danys can you blame him? Your father was a fucking monster.

Altho i have no doubt he felt something for his father despite his father being a prick.

I feel like shell undoubtedly say something like 'my father was a monster, you did the right thing, im not my father. blah blah blah".

Not bad, roughly what I expected from the premiere.
Just wondering if Sansa will kill/have Daenerys killed, vice versa, and will Jon be involved somehow.

Oh dear lord, I don't care for Danys but if she somehow gets Sansa killed she'd become my favorite character ever. Been waiting for that moment since season one.

Found her character to be dumb as fucking hell. Well then her character developed and I noticed that I didn't just hate her for her character but I hated the actress too. Sophie Turner is just a really bad actress. So the combo makes me just want that character/actress to die.

I was satisfied with the episode, with one lingering complaint (stretching back multiple seasons) - where the fuck is Ghost?
That scene with the dead Umber lord suddenly shrieking from the wall: highly effective especially as they'd already seemingly diffused the tension when Edd and co appeared.

Seriously, can we have a ghost sighting please. Do I have to hire a paranormal investigator?

It was one of those things they've been doing the last few seasons where somebody does/says something completely nonsensical just to move us to the next plot point. "Did she tell you she executed my family?" Well considering she didn't know you were related to them, or that I knew you, no. Jon even pointed out that he's executed traitors as well. "But you spared some." Well she spared some, too. Since when does he give a shit about his father? It all seemed so clumsy, but honestly whatever gets us to the finish line at this point. GRRM is never going to finish the books so we have to take what we can get.

The one single thing that I am rooting for to happen is for Sansa to just fucking die. I mean I want her to die in the dumbest and most worthless way possible. I don't want some heroic or trial situation. I want her to wake up one morning and fall face first into a pile of horse shit and forget all human functions and just drown herself in horse shit while everyone points and laughs. Ha ha ha . . .

Another good line from Sansa, when Tyrion is saying how Cercei ill send the amy, he trusts her and it's in her interests, she says "I used to think you were the cleverest person alive". Used.
More and more, Danerys is sounding like Cercei. "I'm the rightful Qunne, I'm the rightful Queen. Bend the damned knee". Cercei would have incinerated Randall and Dickon (heh heh, "Dick-on") just like the nice Dragon Queen. She's going to snap hen she finds out she's not first in line.

There was a distinct lack of Hot Pie in this episode, which makes me worried with the trajectory of this show.

I am happy to see so many people realizing the Jon Snow character is stupid. Even one of the writers in the epilogue said something to the effect of, "Jon Snow isn't the sharpest tack in the box."
When I first brought this up last year many posters objected.

If you are saying the three girls were not all good looking, I agree. Only one looked good. But too much of a good thing is not a good thing. Over abundance diminishes appeal and value.
