Last year there was a tournament on this message board to select the best CBM ever and as expected The Dark Knight was the winner. This tournament is to select the hottest actress in superhero movies and TV shows.
This tournament has 128 actresses from superhero movies and TV shows, randomly split into 4 brackets (32 actresses per bracket). The 4 brackets are called the Iron Fist bracket, the Daredevil bracket, the Punisher bracket, and the Defenders bracket. The bracket names are not a restriction of which actresses can be in the bracket. For example, actresses Iron Fist or Daredevil can be in any of the 4 brackets (similar to how an west coast school can be in any of the 4 brackets in the NCAA Basketball Tournament).
Each of the 4 brackets will have 5 rounds, with each round lasting for 1 week. At the end of the 5 rounds, the winners from each of the 4 brackets advance to the Semifinal Round. In the Semifinal Round, the Iron Fist bracket winner goes against the Defenders bracket winner and the Daredevil bracket winner goes against the Punisher bracket winner. The 2 Semifinal winners advance to the Final Round.
The following 1st Round matchups are for the Punisher bracket. There will be 3 other threads for the other 3 brackets. Vote for 1 winner per matchup. If you vote multiple times for a matchup, I'll take your last vote for that matchup. Voting for this round ends Midnight on Sunday March 10.
1. Amy Jackson (Supergirl TV series) vs Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns)
2. Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises) vs Lucy Lawless (No Ordinary Family TV series)
3. Gina Carano (Deadpool) vs Lori Loughlin (Birds of Prey TV series)
4. Amber McDonald (Aquaman unaired pilot) vs Becky G (Power Rangers)
5. Maggie Geha (Gotham TV series) vs Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Sky High and Birds of Prey)
6. Danielle Panabaker (Sky High and The Flash (2014) TV series) vs Amber Rose Revah (The Punisher TV series)
7. Alana De La Garza (Smallville TV series) vs Ashley Scott (Birds of Prey TV series)
8. Jill Flint (The Amazing Spider-Man) vs Elle Macpherson (Batman & Robin)
9. Margot Robbie (DCEU) vs Rachel McAdams (Doctor Strange)
10. Denise Crosby (The Flash (1990) TV series and Lois & Clark TV series) vs Katherine McNamara (Arrow TV series)
11. Dina Meyer (Birds of Prey TV series) vs Cobie Smulders (MCU)
12. Violett Beane (The Flash (2014) TV series) vs Shantel VanSanten (The Flash (2014) TV series)
13. Kelly Hu (X2: X-Men United and Arrow TV series) vs Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man movies)
14. Amy Acker (The Gifted TV series) vs Alicia Silverstone (Batman & Robin)
15. Tala Ashe (Legends of Tomorrow TV series) vs Andrea Brooks (Supergirl TV series)

Just to confirm, are we judging the actresses as they were in their prime or are we judging them as they were when they were in these shows?

Karen Gillan is hot but not as Nebula. And Marisa Tomei was hot when she was younger but she's gotten way too old in SMH.

How many times will you do this 'hottest woman in comic book stuff' just so you can make a point to exclude Scarlett Johansson?

How many times will you do this 'hottest woman in comic book stuff' just so you can make a point to exclude Scarlett Johansson? This is the 1st year that I've done this tournament. And not every actress can be included. I chose 128 because that's a power of 2 so that makes the brackets simpler. If I had gone with 12 (like NFL playoff teams) or 68 (like NCAA Tournament teams), then we get into byes and messy brackets.

ohhh only 128 will fit...you list a bunch of nobodies who have been in like 2 episodes of a CW show or 1 scene in a movie credited as an unnamed character that are fairly but not exceptionally attractive and then act like 'welp not enough room for an original Avenger that has been named Sexiest Woman Alive multiple times!' Do you ever get tired of being you?
and where is Nicole Maines you transphobic piece of crap?

I'm going to give DC Fan the benefit of the doubt that he's going to include Scarjo in later brackets. That said, this bracket does seem to mostly be filled with very obscure characters. I need to research them first before I can answer. I mean, he included someone from an unaired Aquaman pilot but excluded the very milfish Aunt May. Seems a mite bit suspicious.

where is Nicole Maines you transphobic piece of crap? This thread is for the Arrow bracket. Nicole Maines is in the Daredevil bracket, which is in another thread. With 128 actresses, that's 64 1st-round matchups so I put each of the 4 brackets into separate threads.

It's not suspicious at all. Like I explained to you previously, this is when they were in those movies or TV shows. That's why Karen Gillan isn't in this tournament. Karen Gillan is hot but not as Nebula. And that's also why Marisa Tomei isn't in this tournament. Marisa Tomei was hot when she was younger but she's gotten too old in SMH. As for obscure characters, they're still part of the movie or TV show. And it's no different than the obscure schools in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Sure, the NCAA Basketball Tournament has Duke and Kentucky and North Carolina and many well-known schools. But it also has North Carolina Central and Texas Southern and Radford and LIU Brooklyn and several less well-known schools.

You do realize, don't you, that (contrary to what Brie Larson thinks) there are only a limited number of slots so Including someone means EXcluding someone else. It's no different than the NCAA Tournament. The selection committee announces the brackets and every year some schools on the bubble feel that they were overlooked. But there's only a limited number of slots so not every actress can make the cut. I chose the 128 hottest actresses in superhero movies and TV shows.

Sad how much time you spend on this and barely anyone will participate because you're an obnoxious troll. If someone not a troll made this, wasn't biased against the MCU, included ScarJo, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge etc instead of nobodies from 2 episodes of a CW show... it would get so much more participation. Why do you MCU fans want to turn every thread into an MCU vs DC argument? 1st, there's no bias against MCU here. There are 22 actresses from MCU in this tournament. Débora Nascimento (The Incredible Hulk) Bridget Regan (Agent Carter TV series) Jessica Stroup (Iron Fist TV series) Angourie Rice (Spider-Man: Far From Home) Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist TV series, The Defenders TV series, and Luke Cage TV series) Isabelle Cornish (Inhumans TV series) Amanda Righetti (Captain America: The First Avenger) Ayelet Zurer (Daredevil TV series) Erin Moriarity (Jessica Jones TV series) Hope Davis (Captain America: Civil War) Rachael Taylor (Jessica Jones TV series and The Defenders TV series) Nazanin Boniadi (Iron Man) Amber Rose Revah (The Punisher TV series) Rachel McAdams (Doctor Strange) Cobie Smulders (MCU) Jaimie Alexander (Thor movies) Alexa Davalos (The Punisher TV series) Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil TV series, The Defenders TV series, and The Punisher TV series) Sarah Bolger (Agent Carter TV series) Giorgia Whigham (The Punisher TV series) Ming-Na Wen (Agents of SHIELD TV series) Leslie Bibb (Iron Man movies) 2nd, this tournament isn't just MCU and DC. There are actresses from X-Men movies, from other Marvel movies (such as Ghost Rider and Morbius) and from non-DC, non-Marvel movies (such as Max Steel, Power Rangers, and Sky High). 3rd, I didn't have so scour IMDb to find these actresses. I've watched most of these movies and TV shows so I already knew who these actresses are.

There are actresses from X-Men movies, from other Marvel movies (such as Ghost Rider and Morbius) and from non-DC, non-Marvel movies (such as Max Steel, Power Rangers, and Sky High). Uh-huh. That's why no ScarJo even though she's the most famous MCU actress, has a ton of screen time, and you know that most people think she's attractive and that your opinion that she isn't is the outlier? 3rd, I didn't have so scour IMDb to find these actresses. I've watched most of these movies and TV shows so I already knew who these actresses are. Oh that's a good one.
You just know off-hand that Brianna Brown was in 1 episode of Smallville 15 years ago?
You just know off-hand that Jill Flint played 'receptionist' in The Amazing Spider-Man?
You just know off-hand that Amber McDonald (WHo??) was in the unaired Aquaman pilot from 13 years ago? She doesn't even have a headshot on IMDB OR Wikipedia. but sure she's more deserving to be in this tournament than ScarJo...??
Oh I see you listed Natalie Alyn Lind and mentioned her in Gotham. She was born June 21st, 1999, and her last Gotham episode aired November 30th, 2015 meaning she was 16 then...
skathaar said 'are we judging the actresses as they were in their prime or are we judging them as they were when they were in these shows?' and you said 'when they were in those movies or TV shows'
So you're...how old? I know you're old... and you're lusting after a 16 year old asking strangers on the internet to decide if she's hotter than Karen Fukuhara? Sick sick sicko.

Yes, I'll explain it to you. Contrary to what Brie Larson thinks, there are a limited number of slots so INcluding the ones you listed above means EXcluding some who are in this tournament. There are 128 slots and I chose the 128 hottest actresses from superhero movies and TV shows. I don't use any quotas (i.e. I don't require X number of actresses from MCU, Y number of actresses from DC, and so forth). Just the 128 hottest actresses from superhero movies and TV shows. Are you saying that I should EXclude someone from this tournament just to INclude a less attractive actress similar to the way Brie Larson wants to EXclude white interviewers just to INclude more non-white interviewers who may not be as experienced or qualified?
