I dont think Emma was right for the role as well, but come on, Megan Fox? Really? She'd make a great Belle. Stop being jealous. Jealous? Why would i want to see a Belle made of plastic?

She's terrible for the role. It felt like I was looking at a young male drag queen the entire movie! Why didn't they cast someone better? I can name better choices off the top of my head: Mila Kunis Megan Fox Gal Gadot Amber Heard Margot Robbie Any of them would have been 10 times better. Emma was terrible for Belle and I couldnt take the story seriously seeing her in the role. Not even the damn Beast would have actually been attracted to her. smh There is a French live action movie Beauty and the Beast starring Lea Seydoux as Belle. She kicks Emma Watsons ass anyday everyday.

Emma Watson's Belle portrayal will compete directly against Hugh Jackman's LOGAN performance in the coming MTV Awards! They have done away with gender-based categories and Hugh and Emma will compete with 2 other male and 2 other female actors for the award of BEST ACTOR. Most of the news items focused on Hugh and Emma, given that they are the most popular of the 6 candidates. But the award is supposed to focus on which was the standout and most iconic, for-the-ages, performance www.billboard.com/articles/news/awards/7752316/mtv-movie-tv-awards-nominations-list

LMAO! Typical MTV idiots. Also, Hugh Jackman was 10 times better in Logan than Emma was as shemale looking Belle.

My issue with the film is they took away from the main story (Bell & the Beast) to embellish the secondary characters. Did we need to see her mom?

She's pretty enough for the role. Beast did not look like any dog I've seen.

What does that have to do with anything??? If she was pretty enough then I wouldn't be complaining about them casting what looked like a drag queen. She was terrible for the role.

I do not think she (E. Watson) was terrible, either. Just because you thought she was terrible, it does not mean that others do. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It´s quite ironic that you are complaining about her looks, when the whole story revolves around that beauty is not just the definition of a shell, but what´s within a person; kindness, intelligence and love.
I liked the film, but for me it did not outshine the original disney animated film. I liked Belle´s father so much more in this live-action version compared to how he was in the original though and it was easier to see the love between father and daughter and what a tough, brilliant, courageous, protective man Belle´father was. The actor portraying LeFou deserves credit as well in that he actually made LeFou more than just a caricature while adding a tragicomic nuance to him. Those two characters really got some compelling layers to them which they severely lacked in the original. I loved that and also how it was shown what a happy ending these two got in the end as well.
I agree with someone who said that Belle and the Beast should have gotten more story revolving around just the two of them. I think the transformation scene could have been done so much better both story-wise and acting-wise with more flashing lights and in-depth details. The fight scenes regarding the wolves and the last showdown between Gaston and Beast should have been fleshed out.
The mirror could have been worked on a bit more and the same goes for the rose.

You don't see Emma Watson as that? Maybe you need glasses. So wearing glasses would improve my visio Yes, I had my glasses on when I watched the movie. And when I watched Ghost in the Shell last week. And when I saw Your Name yesterday. Your use of a disgusting term toward transgenders. My daughter dated a female to male transgender person, not the male to female you & others seem fascinated with. Your opinion. Others think she's pretty. I don't really think about the appearance of females. Chris Hemsworth is exceptionally easy on the eyes. Tom Hiddleston. Jonly Depp. In his day, Errol Flynn was beautiful. I'm not superficial enough to rate a person in their appearance. Sorry. It doesn't pay in my job to be swayed by a pretty face. My clients are criminals.

Does the young one feel better dismissing the concept of possessing a modicum of tact in living with our fellow humans? Your style reminds me of my nephew. Husband's actually. The nephew was paranoid schizophrenic Trying to figure if that's your excuse for being so afraid of other people exercising the right to live their lives as they choose without bothering others

I'll wait. Your repeated proclamation Ms Watson is a transgender person. Reminds me of my nephew's simplistic view of others. He actually bought into all that white power crap. The way you rate women based on appearance rather than skill as a performer. He drove his mother & grandmother crazy saying vulger stuff like "Ooo she wants my big one" when he saw hot chicks on the street. He said that in front of me, I told him I would go inform the woman he was speaking of what he said. My husband said yes, I would do that. The boy didn't say that stuff in front of me anymore.
