Go ahead and point out where I implied to be any of those things you foolishly accuse me of. I'll wait. Your repeated proclamation Ms Watson is a transgender person. And? That really had nothing to do with what you said so thanks for grasping at straws there, champ. lol! Again has nothing to do with anything I said or your foolish accusations. . lmao! Again what the hell does that have to do with your foolish accusations? What were they again? I'm schizophrenic? I'm afraid of what people do with their lives? Cry more, she looked like a shemale and didn't give any grand performance on top of that. Get over it buttercup. Sounds like youre the one with psychological issues as you are apparently traumatized by your nephews actions and now get triggered on message boards when people don't bow down to your sheep mentality. Sorry snowflake but you need to seek professional help.

Sorry snowflake but you need to seek professional help. You make statements that remind me of my late husband's late nephew. (Nephew committed suicide, not uncommon for schizophrenics) I work in law enforcement. I need to figure out where my clients are lying & where they are telling the truth. I tend to analyze people when they behave in negative ways such as labeling an actress as a "she-male". Does it bother you that you type in a manner that is reminiscent of a dead schizophrenic? I tend to look for signs of mental illness because they can be manipulated by others. They’re the ones convicted while the mastermind is still on the street. They also often don't think they need their meds which I always encourage them to take.

So you couldnt point out what I told you to do so you pull some BS story outta your ass to try to make yourself look good in front of everyone. Nice try. Fail harder next time. XD

There is a French live action movie Beauty and the Beast starring Lea Seydoux as Belle. She kicks Emma Watsons ass anyday everyday. Who is that? She was also the last Bond girl in Spectre.

I'm not sure how anyone could look at Emma Watson and think "transgender". That is absurd and likely a sign of mental problems or issues with their own sexuality. You learn something interesting every day on the internet.

I agree with John. She was perfectly cast for the role btw. Some of the names mentioned in the op made me cringe.

Ignore Woozlewuzzle. Known troll from IMDb.
He was mocked heavily over at the Beauty and the Beast (1991) forum for saying that the movie is worthless because there are no famous people in it, only to be told that Angela Lansbury and Jerry Orbach are/were major actors (he came across as too young to know who they are), not to mention how fame isn't the same as talent. He didn't understand the casting of a lot of people for voice acting work with Broadway experience (Lansbury and Orbach are examples who with both Hollywood and theater credentials), which helps given that many of them do their own singing. He thinks there is no value in casting animated classics with people who are cast for talent, not the latest tabloid trash. While hiring trendier names did get more common after hiring Robin Williams (who, lest we forget, was a Julliard-trained actor), Disney still hires extensively from comedians, Broadway and popular music as it always has going back to its very beginnings.
This user also got laughed off the Batman board for saying Michael Keaton was the worst Batman with similarly ineffective, immature debate capabilities. And all of this favorite movies he rated highly were lowest common denominator blockbusters from recent years.
His arguments are always bizarrely mental and full of name-calling, just like the ones in this thread.
I really don't like Emma Watson much and I think she was completely miscast because of her name. She used to be cheery and innocent back in her Hermione days, but now just looks gloomy and jaded about the world ever since she went full misery guts SJW hipster. She's a child actress that doesn't really have the acting chops needed to compete as an adult, not to mention almost too associated with one role. She also looks really unhappy these days, as well as her just acting too modern, and that's not Belle, who has a more classic beauty look. In fact, Belle's cartoon design seems to be based on classic British actress Claire Bloom, who played the role in a now-lost Shirley Temple production. And Disney voice actress Paige O'Hara also looked the part, as well. Emma also doesn't have a mature, feminine look and I don't really associate Belle's look with a young teenager-looking person (despite being played by an actress in her 20s and the role being technically about 18).
She's also deeply misinformed about historical garments when she refused to wear a pair of 17th-18th century stays in a period piece. Stays (which are NOT restricting, contrary to Hollywood stereotypes--I can hear the period clothing bloggers screaming from here) and 19th century tight-laced corsets are not the same thing. She says a lot of uninformed garbage. If you don't want to wear stays, don't mouth off about historical garments you know nothing about and don't try out for period parts. The modernized clothing at her request did not benefit the film and just doesn't look right. The yellow dress is disappointing because there's nothing period about it. It's a modern couture prom dress, not a historical ballgown (admittedly, an 1860s anachronism in the cartoon), no matter how fanciful the story is.
And if you can't compete with these Broadway-quality singers without autotune... You're not going to measure up.

I just wish they'd have gotten someone who could sing better. You're going to do a bunch of musical numbers you better make sure you get someone who has the voice for it. Melissa Benoist would have been a better fit, and that's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there are other actresses out there who'd have been much better for the role.

She's terrible for the role. It felt like I was looking at a young male drag queen the entire movie! Why didn't they cast someone better? I can name better choices off the top of my head: Mila Kunis Megan Fox Gal Gadot Amber Heard Margot Robbie Any of them would have been 10 times better. Emma was terrible for Belle and I couldnt take the story seriously seeing her in the role. Not even the damn Beast would have actually been attracted to her. smh I haven't seen the film yet so I can't really comment on if Emma was a bad choice or not, but your choices are all too old. Emma at least has a freshness and innocence that Belle should have.

Emma Watson may be young (ish) but she doesn't look innocent, or at least not in the movie anyway. She's far too self-confident, too strong of a personality - almost cocky, and that does not make her look innocent or fresh. I mean, it's not a bad look, I just don't think it works well with Belle.

I will have to watch the film before I can say if I agree with you or not, but I do think that by comparison to the actresses the other poster mentioned, Emma is fresh. I think Lily James, who played Cinderella and was in the series War and Peace, would have been great.
