When I was a kid, I found him very disturbing. I eventually did borrow an album of his from my friend next door and I still like "Halo of Flies". And I did bother to watch his TV special "Welcome to My Nightmare" which I thought was hilarious. Other than that, not my cup of tea.
Interesting story, Groucho Marx and George Burns once went to see AC in concert and were very impressed that he seemed to be using old vaudeville shtick.

Loved it when Alice Cooper was a band and he was fine solo until he decided to go down the dreaded heavy metal route around the mid 80's. My favourite tour was when he was doing his barmy Japanese housewife look for the Special Forces tour. He was in a bad shape physically but put on a great show. The next time I saw him was I think the Constrictor tour when he had a heavy metal guitarist dressed as Rambo and that was the end for me.

he doesn't seem too appreciative of his fans at the Philadelphia comic con today, he refused to take pics with his fans. IDK too much about his music. I got an album autographed for a friend but a lot of the people there looking forward to meeting him seemed a bit disappointed after meeting him it seemed  |

Too many fans, not enough time...especially when you're on tour. I blame Napster. And Usenet. And torrents. yeah maybe. I never used torrents. I've always felt the need to own a physical copy. I only resorted to things like napster back in the day to resort to the bonus tracks from non-usa versions, or for instrumental or acapella versions.

I don't have a strong opinion either pro or con. I don't own any of his albums, but I don't dislike his music either.
