The only movies worth mentioning for 1988... 1.Rain Man (1988) - 7.5-8/10 -.Die Hard (1988)
EDIT: I removed The Big Blue (1988) as while I still like it, it's dropped off a bit on a re-watch a moment ago on Mar 13th 2019. now it's only a 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up).

I probably should see it again, not having watched it for nearly thirty years. I was very young and I hated it - which is a shame, because (1) very few major movies have been shot in my home town, this is one of them and (2) my uncle was an extra, playing (if I remember rightly) a drunken sailor.

biker1Given that wording, does that mean it's a below average movie at best for you? ; or are you just exaggerating? NOTE: according to my IMDb account it says I have seen 33 movies from 1988 and I like 14 of them. but only three score a seven or higher. but to list the other's... Miracle Mile/Who Frame Roger Rabbit/Rambo III/The Great Outdoors/The Dead Pool/Cocktail/Child's Play/Big/Bat 21/Bloodsport/Crocodile Dundee 2. p.s. in general the vast majority of my favorite movies are from the 1990's to date with the 2000's being my #1 overall decade for movies.
