Sooooo it seems like you don’t understand Ritten Tomatoes after all that time spent posting fake user reviews.

Copy/paste of my reply from a similar post on the MCU board:
We are at the "critics are afraid to give bad reviews" stage of haters trying to explain away a movie's success. Next will be the "Disney bought millions of tickets to inflate opening weekend box office" stage.

Yeah those reviews don't make me wanna go running to the theatre. I rather critics hate a movie than like it but not seem excited about it.

Looking forward to this next year with Birds of Prey. I'm sure the ads will once again be "See the first movie to ever allow women to have starring roles."

Down to 83% now Of course this is because of evil men who hates women. I didn't think there was sexism drama behind this movie but all I had to do was just one google search. www.themarysue.com/captain-marvel-men-negative-eyerollllll/And many of the "positive" reviews Ive seen arent even that positive, using adjectives like "forgettable" and "not top tier"

I know that the media and feminist types have been pushing this film as a must see but did any of those with doubts think that Captain Marvel would be a bad film? I figured it would be average at least, a Thor: The Dark World or something. All the advertisements indicated "ok" to me, not a Ghostbusters '16 cringefest or anything.

Im losing interest in superhero movies in general and tbh Captain Marvel looks like another average movie from the trailers. Not so surprised by the critical reception, they seems to give these things overpraise but hey, I will still catch it in cinemas openining week.

I love how an 83% is somehow bad reception for this movie when most DCEU films would kill for that. Most reviews say the character is awesome and Brie does an amazing job, but the movie itself is just okay. I am fine with that I guess.

It seems to me that people have either just decided that they will love this movie or hate this movie.
I think people are calling 83% (84% now) bad is because they had expected it to be over 95%.
But yeah calling 84% bad is strange because its not bad.
