I was reading an Entertainment Weekly article about the movie, and it mentioned that Ben Mendelsohn is playing Nick Fury's human boss AND a Skrull leader named Talos (which leads to the safe bet that it's actually the same character, but he just shifts shapes) . I had no idea what the villain in the trailer was Mendelsohn (though I knew he was in the movie), and I think it would have been a cool surprise. Did everyone else know about Mendelsohn's character already?
Fun tidbit: In the article Brie and Sam talk about how they would prove to each other that they were really themselves and not Skrulls in real life, and the question they pick is, "Who's your least favorite person on Kong: Skull Island". Makes me curious about who it is from that movie that they both hate.
