And just like that Captain Marvel returns to the top spot. No. 1 for Thursday Box Office $1,267,909
Would it be possible to have two MCU movies sharing the two top spots on the Domestic Box Office chart this Weekend?
If done that would be another unbreakable record...

It topped Wonder Woman Domestic! I didn't think that would happen. Impressive! Still don't think it will beat Aquaman's worldwide but it will be within 10-20m of it which is amazing since this was supposed to be a box office bomb according to some.

But Captain Marvel was supposed to be a bomb according to most but, fine, goal post moved.

I'm surprised this is still chugging along despite Endgame's arrival. I would have thought everyone would be watching Endgame by now.

I'm surprised this is still chugging along despite Endgame's arrival. I would have thought everyone would be watching Endgame by now. It shows that MCU films act as advertisements for future instalments. Without the context of being part of the MCU, Captain Marvel would have had a mediocre box office.

It shows that people are invested in the narrative. Your argument is the equivalent of saying every episode of a tv show is nothing but an advertisement for the next episode.

Yep, I wonder how close it'll get to Aquaman world wide gross? I checked and didn't realize they were so close together, there's only a difference of $20 million.
