moses/jeff ruland
I try to block it out of my head .....
multiple deals went on
could have had brad Daugherty - we flipped him for Roy Hinson to go along with the Moses / Ruland deal on the same day at the draft - it's a blur at this point - like and ex taking you for everything you have/had - you just try to block it out and move on and it pains you to even think about it.................

the 1998 draft we drafted the 2nd 'Flight Brother' - Larry Hughes
immediately after him went
Dirk Nowitzki Paul Pierce
ugh
I salivate of what might have been with Nowitzki or Pierce next to Iverson

1979 Saints 1st round draft choice - Russell Erxleben.....their worst draft choice in their history. I still shake my head over it.

Trading Richards and Carter
'Flyers West' went on to win Cups with the Kings i.e. with Hextall at the helm with other former Orange and Blackers like Justin Williams.

breaking up the Legion of Doom and thinking bringing Gratton here from the Lightning was an upgrade over Renberg....
like bringing Cliff Lee back like the Phils did - as the Orange and Black did Renny - it was just too late...............after they jettisoned a fan favorite and major contributor

I can give a shit less if he bats .259 again. know what he'll do? hit at least 30 homers, drive in over 100 rbi's........he's a left handed bat in a heavy right handed lineup. he'll also attract free agents. he'll fill the bank again. they had a record # of ticket sales the day after he signed. his #3 jersey outsold LeBron's Laker Jersey after a 1 day signing... i.e. he's a Celeb here - and it's going to be a giant party again - disappoint or not - this will last until Trout - 'comes home'................. it was throwing money at The Rolling Stones - who cares if they suck - they'll fill the house and others (fans and Trout) will come.... Harper is a pawn so to speak - a Kardashian.....he's bait..... a minnow head on a lure casting a fishing rod You folks need to go to 2nd level thinking here - we've got Comcast Cable Money rolling out of our butts - Trout is next....this was only Phase #1 of Dominance !

Chargers - Ryan Leaf. Enough said.
As for Wests Tigers - it’s a veritable horror movie of bad signings, dud deals and players underperforming on big money.

I see. If the Phils don't make the playoffs all will be for naught. I don't see Trout going anywhere as he's the face of the Angels franchise.

Well, there's that Babe Ruth sale. That didn't go as planned.
The Bills fucked up three years of draft in one pick. They reach for E.J. Manuel. Then they decide that Manuel's problem was that he didn't have a receiver. So they move up to take Sammy Watkins (passing on UB product Khalil Mack). And all it cost was the Bills #1 the next year. Three years for a choad that my grandson could see was no NFL QB.
You never can tell how things may work out. Bill took Tom Cousineau at #1 overall in 1979 and watch him flee across the border to the CFL. The Raiders got more out of JaMarcus Russell. The Bills held Cousineau's draft rights and traded him to the Browns. Who dod the Bills draft with that pick? Jim Kelly.
