Who are some of your favorite and least favorite TV cooks and chefs?
I still like watching Nigella Lawson from time to time. She is sexy and fun and her food so over the top and trashy.
The only one I really despise is Jamie Oliver, he is obnoxious and condescending.

It's hard to find an actual cooking show nowadays  I still love watching Julia, she cracks me up. Pepin, of course. Most of the ones today, show things I already know, so to me they're boring. Chefs in general, I like when they are on a talk show(like Today) because they're a little more relaxed. I used to like Curtis & Cat Cora. But after watching them on Kitchen Rules(not a very good show). They're obnoxious. And it's not just from that show. But that pushed me over the edge with them. |

I go back and forth on Alex Guranscheli (sp?) on "Chopped". I think she plays up the "mean Judge" persona. In one episode she said "The wicked Witch is here." So she nust know how she's percieved.
Scott Conant and his strong dislike of Onions. Good god. Don't eat it. Not the end of the World guy. He comes off nasty sometimes.

Anyone remember the Two Fat Ladies? Used to like watching them. They had great chemistry on screen and were very entertaining. Ainsley Harriott is hilarious! "Yeah bwoi!"  I love his enthusiasm too. I don't care for poncey Tv chefs, though. The ones that make dishes using ingredients out of an average person's budget. |

First one I remember liking was the Galloping Gourmet, he was great. None of the modern TV chefs are as amusing as he was. I quite liked the Hairy Bikers though, and the Two Fat Ladies.
