I mean, in terms of widening the MCU's demographic tent and attracting a female audience. I just saw a stat that said the female audience for this opening weekend was only 39%, while the same metric for Aquaman (!) was 52%.
Guys, I'm worried about the MCU's inability to appeal to women. What gives? Why is DC so much better at this than Marvel?

The only reason MCU Dictator Kevin Feige made a Captain Marvel movie and made Captain Marvel the future face of MCU was to try to capitalize on the female audience that went to see Wonder Woman in large numbers. But Captain Marvel turned out to be a big disappointment and a dud so it looks like MCU has failed to draw in that demographic.

Obviously women are mean ol misogynists. Right white knights? You fellas have rubbed your gigantic guts and smugly spewed vitriol at anyone who dared not bow down to cheese flat butt. With angry haters like creepy crusader claiming those females that disagreed with cheese were somehow gender betrayers and/or whores that were desperate to gain the favor of guys!!!! Because women need to PRETEND to agree with so called toxic fan boys to get attention, right white knights? It's almost like these white knights have NEVER actually interacted with any women.

Yeah, but Disney bought out empty theaters. That doesn't count. Only next week counts. And next week, it will plummet!!!1

In fact The $302 mill CM has grossed foreign is 3/4th what WW grossed throughout its run I

It's been exposed that Disney bought out empty theaters. So in reality, nobody saw it this weekend. Even people who THINK they saw it didn't. They're just being tricked by Disney and the Mandela Effect.

WB announced a Wonder Woman movie on October 14, 2014. MCU reacted by announcing a Captain Marvel movie 2 weeks later. Woman Woman was released in 2017. MCU reacted by releasing Captain Marvel almost 2 years later. Like I said, MCU made a Captain Marvel movie as a reaction to WB making a Wonder Woman movie.

It's objectively a success. It's made three times its budget in its opening weekend.

It's objectively a success. It's made three times its budget in its opening weekend. That's fake news. Everyone who's truly woke knows that Disney bought out empty theaters as a "loss leader" to boost future sales.

Everyone who's truly woke knows that Disney bought out empty theaters as a "loss leader" to boost future sales. I've seen you bring up that before and while I don't expect you to provide proof, since you're making it up for fun, even without evidence one way or the other we can call this bullshit because Disney has no reason to use a "loss leader." Marvel is not a brand that needs help to attract customers any longer and Disney wouldn't be concerned if a MCU movie here or there performed under expectations-- at least not enough to pump their own money into it. Even if people didn't go to see Captain Marvel, they're still going to go see the next Avengers and GotG. So Disney has no reason to take this approach.

That didn't happen until its release date June 2nd, 2017. Captain Marvel's March 8th, 2019 release date was set in October, 2015. Something happening in October 2015 can't be a reaction to something happening June 2nd, 2017 now can it?
Ohhh is that when it was announced?
Development for a live action Wonder Woman feature film began in 1996, with Ivan Reitman attached as producer and possible director. In 1999 the project became attached to Jon Cohen, who adapted Wonder Woman for producer Joel Silver, with the hope that Sandra Bullock would star
In March 2005, Warner Bros. and Silver Pictures announced that Joss Whedon would write and direct the film. In 2010, Warner Bros. stated that a Wonder Woman film was in development, along with films based on DC Comics superheroes the Flash and Aquaman. On October 5, 2013, WB chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara said he wanted to get Wonder Woman in a film or on TV.
But sure, October 2014 was 'This time we mean it!' and Feige thought 'wow I better make a female movie pronto!'

Looks like coldhaulfield has moved past the incredulous stage, the angry stage, the conspiracy stage, the denial stage and is now in the, I was only kidding, stage. It's been a wild weekend for poor guy. Time to get some sleep. You'll need your strength when IW Endgame hits the theaters.

I've simply adapted as the information has unfolded. We now know Captain Marvel is fake. That's been proven. As for Endgame, it looks great. Why would I need strength to spark one up and then sit back and enjoy it?
