Care to rethink your little theory?
WB announced a Wonder Woman movie on October 14, 2014. MCU reacted by announcing a Captain Marvel movie 2 weeks later. Woman Woman was released in 2017. MCU reacted by releasing Captain Marvel almost 2 years later. Like I said, MCU made a Captain Marvel movie as a reaction to WB making a Wonder Woman movie. So by that "logic" DCEU's Man of Steel was a response to the MCU Thor, and later DCEU's Justice League was a response to MCU the Avengers (even down to DCEU hiring the same Director of the Avengers)
