Do you guys consider the first Bill and Ted a teen movie? I would say so.

Oh man, this is gonna be a tough one, so many, and so little time. Still, somehow (not sure exactly why?) the first film, or scene/gif that I could think of, and always makes me laugh, is from the rather somewhat underrated (or so I believe) sequel to the classic Revenge of the Nerds (1984), and is of course Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987). Anyway, there is a little part where the guys are trying to get as much attention as possible, in very short time, as they have a big contest coming up, and going up againstthe Alpha-Betas (who else?) and they sure knew how to come up with a damn good plan on how to draw as much attention towards their hotel:

So what's the difference? I just realize you posted an image for BTTF, which might be my choice as well if I had thought better. In all fairness though, both that and Bill and Ted are sci-fi comedies and don’t fall under the traditional teen movie with the standard tropes. They add fictitious elements to them to change things up.

To be fair, this thread was over a year ago, so thoughts may change over a period of time. I forgot I even replied to movieman on that.
