First thing I'll do is hire some Monica type assistants, of course.
Second thing I'll do is make it easy for any foreign Monica types to become citizens.
Okay, then I'll start making this a real melting pot. We got to get back to "arranged marriages" to do that. People have too many choices. Next generation will learn they do better without a choice. We'll arrange marriages in such a way that everyone will be related to each other in a few hundred years, and everyone will be every race.
Next, I'll outlaw plastic manufacturing except by special permit for such things as hospitals and the like. And see to it that the U.S. buys or produces those Japanese machines that turn plastic into oil. Then, we'll have to figure out what to do with the oil after it's used. As it is, plastic has got to come to an end. It's already in the fish in the sea, and everything we eat. With the way plastic is manufactured and wasted, if we don't recycle it, there will be no food in a hundred years. Every bit of food will be more plastic than organic.
And I may be underestimating that.
Got to bring back two things. A powerful EPA and a new Ralph Nader along with a new powerful consumer protection agency.
All laws will be uniform for everyone. And that goes for trials and civil suits. The onus will be to prove the individual was negligent, instead of vice versa. The very people saying people should be responsible for their own actions are not saying that about corporate executives who say "F.. them" to safety standards. So much is obvious to predict in terms of safety, and yet juries still go for corporations.
The trouble is that too many young, naïve people are on juries. I've been on juries. I've seen it. The ones age 25-50 think they can join the elite rich and live the American dream if they go along with corporations against individuals. No one under 50 should ever be on a jury. It's time to let the elders be respected like they should. Corporations will be against this, because people with experience and savvy won't buy into corporate propaganda like the younger ones will. I've seen it.
Of course not everyone over 50 is savvy, and not everyone under 50 isn't, but it's a guideline that will make life more fair.
Criminal cases will not be judged by personae. Instead, paid actors will portray the victims and the accused in all trials, and the real participants will never be in the courtroom. They will not be judged badly because they don't look like innocent people, and they won't intimidate people with their presence to get off when guilty.
To do this, I'll just assign my own Supreme Court and make my own Constitution.
Medical care will be free for all. Doctors and nurses will be paid by the government
Medical research and information will be public and not mercantile. Anyone who discovers a cure or an improvement in medicine will be paid a fair flat fee. If the person holds out, if it's a man, he'll be executed, and his family sold as slaves to another county. If it's a woman, she'll be sold as a slave along with her family. Their secret can die with them. I will not give in to extortion and Satanic greed.
If a corporation buys the secret drug or cure or improvement, each executive will suffer the same fate if they hold out. They will not call the shots.
As for abortions, the way to let the problem handle itself is to reward sterility operations. No one will be allowed to hold political office, serve in government over a certain position, nor receive grants, nor be a judge unless the said person has no children of their own and has an operation to ensure they never can. They are still able to adopt children that aren't wanted.
Thus, each citizen can decide whether to be a steward over the people or over a family.
No one who makes under 20,000 a year will pay any income tax. The burden will be increased for the wealthy and for corporations.
Churches that get tax exemptions must show that they help the poor in accordance with their income. Otherwise, they aren't tax exempt. For example, a church that records making over 100,000 in a year must have either a free breakfast or lunch program or house at least two homeless people in a safe, livable structure. The church will still have leeway on whom they accept in their program.
I'll tax processed food and have no tax on certified organic food. Monsanto will be prosecuted. Halliburton will be prosecuted. All such monsters will be prosecuted for crimes against Humanity. To avoid a "French Revolution", there will be no death penalty, but instead the truly vile ones will be sold as slaves to other countries.
If they have no value as slaves, then they can't be dangerous enough in person, so those who aren't bought as slaves will be in minimum security prisons.
Prisons will not be governed by prisoners. Prisoners will not be given paroles based on how they get along with other criminals. Parole will be based on what they did, and what they learned, not on being members of criminal mobs and gangs.
Gangs will be prosecuted harshly. Any gang that commits a violent act will be sought after, and exterminated. The first informant whose information is good on the gang will be the only gang member not executed, but the person will never be allowed to hold public office or to vote again, ever. This is to help ensure that the person is not just using the system.
There will be reforms when I'm president, you better believe it.
