Does quiche count as a pie? I like quiche, just can't make it myself so I buy frozen quiche.

I also forgot about cottage pie, I like cottage pie too ( cottage pie = beef, shepherds pie = lamb or mutton, don't care for lamb or mutton).

I'm not really a pie guy. Pumpkin is the only one I really like. Pecan is tolerable as well.

I will list my favorites in descending order.
1. Steak and Kidney - I have not had a proper S&K pie since I went to England many years ago. 2. Seafood au gratin - You may have to go all the way to Norwood's in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for this but I think you get the idea. Shrimp and scallops in a cheese sauce baked in a pie. 3. Banana creme - seems to be a favorite in this thread. 4. Pecan - I have never had a disappointing pecan pie. 5. Lemon meringue - one of my grandmother's specialties. 6. Strawberry rhubarb - somewhat scarce in stores near me. 7. Apple - with a chunk of sharp Cracker Barrel. 8. Key Lime - very popular in my part of the world. 9. Peach - I prefer this served warm. Peach cobbler is just as good. 10.French silk - real comfort food.
I have other favorites but those are my top ten.
