I suppose that means Adam Driver is toast. I won't cry about it, I think its best to pretend these new Disney movies don't exist anyway.

I am actually Excited to see "EPISODE IX" and JJ Abrams is a very smart filmmaker, I definitely think that he can make things right with "EPISODE IX".

I admire your optimism. But for a lot of people, including myself, they've done so much damage to the franchise in trying to push poisonous propaganda, and they went out of their way to attack and disrespect the fans who didn't like the films nor agreed with the propaganda.

No, Return of the Jedi was. That old coward on an island is not the real Luke Skywalker.

Of course you're excited. You're brainwashed and have no standards. Abrams is a hack. If by smart you mean he's smart at making money, then yes that is very true. He sold out and kissed a lot of ass to get to where he is now. He's a decent director, but he sucks at storytelling. So he needs to stay away from the writers room, unless of course he wants to make bank, which he does, so he will continue writing shit because he knows fools like you will keep rushing out to see them.

I don't trust JJ Abrams. And especially after calling fans "sexist" for not liking the new Star Wars films and the new female characters(And what exactly is there to like about characters like Rey, Rose Tico, and Holdo anyway?), I could give two shits about Episode IX.

For me the Skywalker Saga came to a screeching halt with "The Last Jedi". I nicknamed that " The Laxative Jedi" because it shit all over everything I loved about Star Wars. Personally, I couldn't care less what happens in Episode IX; I will not be seeing that in theaters. Hell, I still haven't seen Solo and have no desire to do so.

I've mostly been done with the franchise since Disney took it over. While the prequels were hardly masterpieces (and Attack of the Clones bored me to sleep, literally), they still had a little bit of "magic" in them. The Force Awakens had a little bit of that old "mojo" (particularly early in the film when Driver was still was wearing the mask - he took it off way too soon) in it but it was completely destroyed by The Last Jedi and any good points were wiped away by Johnson's direction. I could care less about Episode IX, especially if the Skywalker legacy is gone by the end of the film. Any new films will be Star Wars in name only. I haven't seen Solo either and never intend to.

You know I had some hope after Force Awakens, had some problems but I thought it had promising start, TLJ now ended any hopes I had in that regard. The side films of Rogue One and Solo were no better. Its sad really. Original trilogy are the only truly great films (though Ewoks in Jedi can jump in a bonfire...)

I have my criticisms toward Episode 7 and 8, but I've liked them as a whole and do look forward to Episode 9 even though I have a bit of a "Let's get this done" toward it. But it's rare to not have that attitude going into a third film in a trilogy of films unless the previous two films were mind-blowing.

How wonderful. Fuck up Luke Skywalker until he becomes an unlikable grumpy man who resembles nothing of his original self then move on.

And I still hate what they've done to him! He's actually my most favorite Star Wars character.
