Nope. I lived 2 states north at the time of my 10th and didn't have the money to fly down
I didn't miss anything. Only One person i knew attended and a girl I shared 4th grade in elementary school with. That was it.

Other: Never been.
I covered this under another topic, but there was a 10-year in which I never attended.
Even though it was privately hosted, only a handful of former classmates showed. It made no sense seeing as how you can pretty much keep tabs on people from your past on Facebook.
IMO, reunions are just an excuse to get drunk with people from high school.

Been to a few, answered didn't like, didn't hate. The invitations are still posted to my parents even If I moved out over 30 years ago, so it's they who opens the invitation letters. Attended since what harm can a little food and drinks do? since I wasn't the popular guy back then I don't have to care about appearanece. Some have beards, some have less hair on head than I remembered, and some have many kids, some are married, some men like men, and some girls like girls, they get a bit drunk and nothing is sunshine anymore. I don't care about any old class mates problems, they are part of the past, but interesting to notice how quick many fell into their old "roles" and how some are desperate to hold on to them. That when I write this most have voted "others" or similiar is a good sign. High School Reunins must then be a Hollywood cliché! We might like to look at them, but we don't want to participate. Good call msdemos , since I thought I was the only who didn't care that much Interesting side note (at least to me). Other Hollywood cliches are; -One taking their soon-to-be ex to an expensive restaurant to break up. Nobody does that. For obvious reasons. Cheesy setup for embarrassing scene. -One leaving the door open or unlocked when having sex or using the bathroom. Nobody does that in real life. Cheesy setup for embarrassing scene. -One leaving door to home unlocked and people just walking in and out without ringing or knocking. Nobody does that in real life. Cheesy way to save time. -One leaving curtains, shades and blinds open at night in big city. Often buildings can be seen in background. (Often scene includes nudity and/or sex.) Nobody does that in real life. Cheesy result of lazy scene setup (lack of attention to detail).

Wait, who peaked in high school that they'd want to attend?

Wasn’t invited. Despite frequently spending time with several people who went, one of which owned the bar that hosted. I guess I’m not as popular as I thought I was.

I posted earlier, I'd been to two but didn't like it.
However, my mother loved going to reunions. She is 96, in a care facility, so I and a friend have been combing through piles of accumulated stuff at her house, and lo and behold, photos of my mother's 40th reunion and a list of attendees showed up. She had told me stories about the high school reunion and previous ones, and to her it was a big deal.
What is weird is that she had an abusive father, the family moved almost every year, and she had never maintained contact with these people except at that high school reunion. I think she tried to idealize some small part of her childhood, but who knows... She has always been an odd duck.

Never been to one. I would have liked to go though. Just to show off how well I've aged. I say that based on what I've seen on facebook.

While I enjoyed my time in high school, I didn't really have too many close friends and my contact with them decreased as time went on. By the time of my 10 year reunion I was no longer talking to anyone from high school and even though I lived at the same house and had the same phone number I never got an invite.
I only found out there'd been a reunion because a couple weeks later a half dozen or so were at a bar I went to and told me. While I was on good terms with them I never really hung out with any of them in high school. The only reason they were there was that it was a local bar and they'd gone to the same university together and wanted to catch up with each other away from the bustle of the reunion.

No, I've never attended one. As I didn't enjoy my time when I was legally required to attend school and didn't care for my fellow students when I was there, why would I willingly choose to return there at a later date to spend yet more time with the people I didn't like the first time around? That seems entirely illogical to me. ^This. Although I had a few close friends in HS, I still would not want to attend.

I actually befriended some people after I left high school who ha also attended the same place. However, we had hardly ever interacted with each other during that period.

I am still in contact with one person in my graduating 1968 class.
He is my best friend since 3rd grade. Neither of us remember anyone but one other person from that class, Peter Pugolli (who was my best friend for awhile).
Would consider a grammar school reunion.

If my school ever does one I would like to go. Unless everyone has sold out and become a boring "adult", then I probably wouldn't like it, but I'd still want to go in case any people are still cool then.
All this is based on the assumption that I'm still even alive by that stage of course.
