So early and there is already big news. Coca Cola introduces a new flavor, Orange Vanilla Coke. Yup, contemplate that.

Looked at the brackets. Lots of Duke love. One other person picked Tennessee. Really interesting, someone took Louisville to win it all.

Bill Murray at the opener Minnesota vs Louisville. Good match up to get things going. Yale vs LSU, in what some are predicting as the first huge upset in about 5 minutes. yale gunna make the comeback?

I used tv ratings for my determining factor. Figured Duke Unc tiebreaker would be the best one. I don’t know college basketball.

Am watching Auburn (who I like) and New Mexico St. (who is a strong darkhorse). Good stuff.
Vermont with an early lead on Florida St.

I could have flipped a coin and done better so far. I suck. But I'm still doing well in "possible points". None of my losses were teams I had going very far.

I started today in 17th place. Now I'm tied for 5th. Tied for 1st in possible points. It's not how many games you win or lose if the first days, it's how bad those games hurt you down the road. A UC Irvine win would be a boon to me. Not so sure, I've been shitting on the PAC 12 all year, now they will bite me in the ass.
Who is DanYull? Fess up

Damn, noticed there's still a perfect bracket on Yahoo. tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/114576He probably flipped a coin or thought "I like LSU's uniforms over Maryland's. Purple is a kicking color! I'll take LSU!"

My biggest mistake so far was picking Marquette over Murray State. According to Twitter that one was pretty obvious of a pick I guess. I had Marquette going to the Elite 8 because apparently they're a good 3 point shooting team. I never watched them so I was just going by the bio's each team had. In today's basketball the 3 pointers are the big rage so I went with them completely unaware that Murray State had some kid that's apparently a lottery pick in the upcoming draft.
However as long as my final four and championship choices stay alive I'll be looking okay as that's when the real points start coming in. Losing a few teams here and there in the first weekend usually doesn't matter much unless it's a huge upset going down which so far I'd say the biggest name going down has been Kansas and Wisconsin which were 4 and 5 seeds. So not sure they were really popular choices to get extremely far. I had Wisconsin in the Sweet 16 but that's mostly because I went Big 10 heavy as I thought they were the best/toughest conference this year.

I still have all my Elite 8 teams and 13 of my Sweet 16 teams so I'm still in good shape.

The Kansas brutal blow-out loss might have busted my bracket.

Or we should at least be able to sort on them.

Olivia is my wife. I don't have a Yahoo account so I used hers.
