First time viewing. Elisabeth Shue is adorable. Too bad no scene where Mr. Miyagi drinks booze off her boobs. The villains in this movie are also hilariously cartoonish.

Liked it fine at the time BUT they shudda really stopped at #1 and made sure it would never be "re-made" or "loosely based on" or whatever they called the 2010 one.

GET HIM A BODY BAG!!!! YEAH!!!!! This probably belongs in another thread, but I didn't realize for years that one of the Cobra Kai guys (Dutch) was Steve McQueen's son.

I re-watched it recently to catch my friend up to speed with The Cobra Kai series. The villains in this movie are also hilariously cartoonish. To be fair to the filmmakers they did a better job with the villains in this movie than most '80s action flicks. Johnny sees what Daniel is doing is trying to hit on his girl. Obviously Allie broke up with him but he doesn't see the relationship as being over yet. It doesn't excuse what he does but I think it's something that does happen irl.

Hell, I am surprised you have not seen that one a long time ago as I think you and I are of similar age. I have viewed that one at a young age back in the 1980's and a good amount over the years since.
but honestly, while I realize that the first movie seems to get all of the credit and seems to be the most liked, the only one ill re-watch at this point is the 3rd movie as I think it's carried by the bad guys (Jan 13th 2019 is my most recent re-watch). basically it was on a May 14th 2016 viewing when the 1st movie became no longer worth re-watching for me.
@thegodfather
That's funny how they twist things and make it look like Johnny is the decent guy and Daniel is the bad guy. lol
