That's more or less the first time I ever heard of the Skrulls.

, before/earlier. I'm no longer interested in guessing when you first heard of the Skrulls. Your clues are weak and, there is no clear incentive to guess correctly. Instead, I thought I'd share the first time I ever heard of a Skrull proper which was in the pages of Skrull Kill Crew. I think that's far more interesting than your contest. I now declare this thread to be the property of Lord Death Man.

Why are you bumping this? You've narrowed it down from thousands to hundreds. Just say you're guessing a number between 1 and 400, that would more transparent as to what people are complaining about in this thread.

Clue #1 = It was NOT their FIRST appearance.
Clue #2 = Comic book, NOT cartoon.
Clue #3 = FF comic, NOT CM NOR any other superhero or supergroup.
Clue #4 = Reprint, NOT the original.
Clue #5 Reprint is from the 70s, original is from the 60s.

Clue #5 Reprint is from the 70s, original is from the 60s. It should be relatively evident that no one has any idea what you’re talking about. What was the point of the thread? To say, ‘Ha Ha, I fooled you?’

It should be relatively evident that no one has any idea what you’re talking about. What was the point of the thread? To say, ‘Ha Ha, I fooled you?’ WHY would YOU (OR anyone else) NOT know what I'm talking (typing, actually) ABOUT? IT'S QUITE EVIDENT what I MEAN. The concept is evident, but you’re essentially asking for not only comic book experts, but people who’ve backlogged and cataloged entire runs from the 1970’s of a very specific book. This is not the site for that. The fact that no one has even guessed a single issue within your parameters should show how off the mark this was. Why did you get the impression we were Fantastic Four historians? I have owned nearly a thousand comic books in my life, and have kept up with current stories to detail from many different sites. But this is so far beyond expected knowledge. Not only is it you asking a trivia question of dramatic accuracy (fractions of a percentage anyone would get it right), but it’s specific to something about you that no one would otherwise know. You’re not asking for common knowledge, you’re asking about something you know. How many times are you going to bump this before you just give up and answer your own question? Months? Years? Hold on, let me go study Marvel’s reprint policies from the 60’s and 70’s so I can deduce what comics you may or may not have been talking about. That should narrow it down form 600 possibilities to... 400? Do we have a reprint guru in the house?
