I own the book, the DVD and the soundtrack. Brilliant - from start to finish. I actually saw the film first, then a friend gave me the soundtrack, then I came across the novel. Hey....It's been almost a year since you made that recommendation but I am watching it today. 30 mins in to the film and it's looking good. I hope you enjoy it. If you like the soundtrack, most of it's available on YT if you can't find the CD. I also highly recommend the novel.

I was thinking it would be your escape on train kind of movie. But it turned so dark and those last 30 minutes of sheer madness and despair looked so real. Liked the ending too. Thanks for the great recommendation.

Sometimes when you are going to sleep and you decide to watch a few funny youtube vids like those of Key and Peele and then the "few" videos you wanted to watch turns out to be too many because those funny vids made you so engaged that you lost your sleep. I don't mean it necessarily has to be funny vids only. It could be any distraction. Say you decide to read about Queen Nefertiti of Egypt on Wikipedia and then from one wiki page to others you go on reading for hours. I know it happens to me many times when I am reading about the dynasties of any ancient civilization.
Or are you a very strict person and if you decide to watch a few vids or read a few pages then you stick to your commitment? You're right. Stupid videos keep me up too.
