Never seen it, actually, and I love the Sleepy Hollow tale. (By the way, has anyone else here ever actually been to Sleepy Hollow, NY? It remains one of my favorite places and, in season, is still superbly autumnal all these years later. It's far better around Hallowe'en than the wildly over-commercialized and sadly tacky Salem.) Thanks for bringing it to my attention! P.S. Interesting that the reviews claim it's the most loyal to Irving's tale. I've been meaning to find one that is. Do you agree?

No, I've never been to Sleepy Hollow. Yes, I would say that particular version is the most loyal to Washington Irving's vision.

Just linked over and there WERE two 1999 Sleepy BHolloway films INCLUDING that TV version..my apologies. Yeah, Cooper, the Golden Retriever, there's the very good Tim Burton version, just called Sleepy Hollow, which is actually one of my favorite movies but which is not at all faithful to the Washington Irving tale, and then there's this one, which I haven't seen but which is apparently the most faithful of all versions. I'm a huge fan of the original story, so I'd be interested in seeing this version too.
