Not quite. This guy is asking them if they would be willing to provide a home for individual refugees. They declare “Absolutely” “Of course” “no problem”. An opportunity arises to put that gesture and public display of fake compassion and apply it into practical application and suddenly none of them want to know. The moral of the story. If you really wouldn’t take a refugee into your home then don’t show off in public and insist that you would. That’s called hypocrisy. No, that's called an utterly asinine attempt to score a point with nonsense. Little wonder you'd buy into it. The only nonsense was from the leftists who clearly lied on camera about their willingness to accept refugees into their home.

BTW MY leftist brother and his wife had an Iranian refugee living with them in their home for two years, allowing him to find a job, meet a lovely Australian woman and marry and have a baby. I would have done the same had my husband not had leukaemia!

People exaggerate things all the time. Just saw a vid in which a user commented that "If id be a millionaire, i would spend all my days making money and donating to all the animal care centers around the world."
Of course, being a millionaire gives you more money to donate. But an average millionaire doesn't donate all his money and neither does she donate to all the animal care centers in the world.
It has nothing to do with political ideology. People say things they can do if things are within their means but usually the things are not in their means. And if they happen to be in future they forget their childish innocence and get invested in materialistic pleasures. That is true for most but the exceptional people.

It's childish to actually discuss stuff that everyday people say in their lives. First we discussed moronic celebrities and now it has come down to discussing things from everyday people on youtube. This planet has 7 billion+ people.....

And you think taking individual refugees into your home is not within anybody means? Nopes, my example of exaggeration was about someone doing charity to animal care centers if she were a millionaire. It's not about means alone. Keeping someone with you is also a matter of privacy. Some people can make claims but back away. It's just that it hasn't got much to do with political ideology. People in general exaggerate things and pretend to be nicer than they are. Especially true about people making comments on social media or in random interviews.

Is that what you do when you post racist neo Nazi diatribes and blatant Islamophobic comments on here all the time?

Why can't you realise that the question is stupid, Cody? Stupid as in the answers obvious kind of way? Like me asking would you accept a cheque of 10 million pounds? No, stupid as in the 'doesn't show what you appear to think it does'. I know pretty much everything you believe is rooted in a desperate need to deny reality, but this is poor even by your standards.
