So bo peeps first moment in the trailer she's a Sarah Conner Baddie with an attitude who saves Woody, she even makes a comment about how Woody used to always have her, now she doesn't need saving.
So it's course correcting an old helpless damsel character. SMH. I loved the OG trilogy. I thought part III was a great love letter to our generation who grew up with part I and II. Great ending.
Why make this? And it looks like trash. Why not just make solo origin films while we are at it?

Build up a series, make millions and billions then allow SJWs to come, in tear it down and apologize for everything that made it a success.

I do think they could have done without Bo Peep and being a badass idea.
Pleasing the SJW crowd? Now that’s pushing it a bit, don’t you think?

THIS! ^ And the unpopular truth is some women want to depend on men and be saved. Not all women want to be tough and independent. I live in the South and there are women who go from man to man and cannot be alone. They want to stay at home and be house wives.

I live in the South and there are women who go from man to man and cannot be alone. They want to stay at home and be house wives. As a woman, I absolutely agree. There are some women who heavily rely on men and feel as if they're helpless without a man yet try to behave as if they're tough, strong, and independent.

I hate SJw but so far nothing indicates it’s an SJW film.

No but it does look unnecessary and quite frankly looks like crap. if they were going to make another toy story they should have made the movie about why exactly toys are alive and what makes them alive and how do they always know to stay still around humans.

SJWs used to be the most irritating people on the planet to me until I got exposed to more alt-right MRA incel types. Maybe it's because you guys act like everyone else is so sensitive yet bitch and moan twice as much? I don't know.

I'm approaching this film with a very open mind. To date, not one film in this series has disappointed and as a result I do place a fair degree of trust and confidence in the creators. Nor do I have a problem with Bo Peep assuming the role of villain.
At the end of the day, good writing, strong characters and vivid emotions are the fuel that have kept this franchise going and I see nothing in the trailer to suggest that those elements will be absent from this latest instalment.

I'm disappointed to hear this. Oddly enough, I watched a trailer reaction of this film by a somewhat feminist leaning reviewer of animation and she hated Bo Peep's changes. Feminity is not weakness, me and my wife have always maintained a pretty feminine image and we're no lesser for it.

I'm tired of films nowadays making women extremely masculine in a twisted attempted to make female characters "strong".
