The Winchester family business is closing up shop: Supernatural will end its run with Season 15, the show’s stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins announced via Twitter on Friday. Hey #SPNFamily here’s a little message from @jensenackles @mishacollins and me. I’m so grateful for the family that’s been built because of the show. I knew it would come to an end soon and I am curious if they are going to continue it as movies 'cause Jared said in an interview last year they were talking about keeping it going as TV movies after the show was over 'cause it would give the writers more time to come up with storylines and a larger budget and that would give them a chance to have Sam and Dean face real monster creatures like they had in 'Buffy' and 'Angel' which has been one of the main things the show has been lacking. I am happy 'Supernatural' went for as long as it has 'cause I loved the first 6 seasons and Season 11 with The Darkness and while most of the latter seasons weren't as good as the earlier seasons there were some great episodes and characters and Cass, Claire, Crowley, Abaddon, Amara, Luficer, Balthazar and Rowena have been some of my favourites. I would love to see a Castiel or Claire spinoff and was disappointed the 'Wayward Daughters' show didn't get given so much as a single chance on TV but with Kathryn Newton becoming a bigger star now it won't be long before she gets leading roles in movies and I think Kathryn will go on to become the biggest actress to come from the show and will possibly even be a bigger name than both Jared and Jensen in a decade from now.

Always good when a show gets to end on its own terms, hopefully the show has fitting finale. Although, I've no clue what a suitable ending to this show would be.
