If you don't mind me asking, What was about "SOLO" that you didn't like ?
Don't tell me that it was just because of "THE LAST JEDI" because I don't consider that to be any kind of a reason at all for disliking another movie.
I'm not sure what you mean - why would one's opinion of The Last Jedi (which I found reasonably enjoyable) have anything to do with ones' opinion of Solo? I simply found the latter film dreary and derivative with bland actors and flat humour. Well I too enjoyed " THE LAST JEDI" but I do know that there are a heck of a lot of people out there that feel that it totally killed " STAR WARS".

I see... well The prequel trilogy didn't manage to kill Star Wars so I don't see how anything could. Diminishing returns for me with the new set - The Force Awakens, Rogue One, Last Jedi - all enjoyable films, each meaning a little less to me than the one before. Spacing them out a little might have helped. Last Jedi reminds me of Return of the Jedi - not actually all that good, kiddie leaning with the cutesy little critters on Luke's retreat, but a largely fun watch for all that. Solo, on the other hand, was the first film in the series since The Phantom Menace that outright bored me. A few months after seeing it I remember little about it save for a most irritating robot and a twist featuring Emilia Clarke's character. I'm happy I didn't pay to see that one at the cinema.

When it comes to "SOLO", What did you think of Darth Maul's cameo at the end ?
