Isn't it "anti-Semitic" to talk about these things?

There was an 'SVU' about this.

There was an 'SVU' about this. Interesting. Because Law & Order usually only focuses on the sex abuse cases in the Catholic Church.

Wonder if that particular documentary received wide coverage or not, in the UK? I can’t watch it due to a copyright issue but the programme was made by Channel 4 which is one of our major channels.

The Tanakh (what you goyim call The Old Testament) lists forbidden sexual liaisons in The Book of Leviticus, and repeated in The Book of Deuteronony.
What bothers me about these laws isn't what they say, but what they DON"T say! For example, there is NO law forbidding sex between a father and daughter. Or between an uncle and niece. Or between adults and children.
And scandals like this aren't limited to the UK. Some years ago there were articles in the NY Times about incest and pedophilia in the Orthodox community of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Maybe at the time it was written, the people assumed that men would not have sex with their own daughters.

Don't cut your hair or beard at all, don't wear clothes of different materials, stone your son to death if he's drunk, and so on... Totally nuts.

Yet these laws do condemn homosexuality: "Do not lie with man as you do with woman; it is an abomination."
It must be understood that homosexuality was widely accepted in the ancient cultures surrounding the Hebrews, and the leaders worked overtime to keep the Children of Israel from emulating these peoples.
However, today, modern thinking Jews are aware that homosexuality is not a "choice" and many are accepting of gay and lesbian Jews (including my own synagogue).
However, IMHO, it's grossly unfair to think that the wandering Israelites of being "loony" and responsible for these laws! Try putting yourselves in their shoes--if they even had any!
