Hey, guys.
I just took into my home a feral cat. He is orange/orange with dark amber eyes; Maddy.
I do not have a pix yet.
He has had all of his medical, is fully insured and I left a provision for his care in my will.

My smooth collie and mini-labradoodle and 2 goldfish don't like their images on the internet in case of stalkers. Here are some body doubles:

I have two Chihuahuas, a Russell Terrier, and a stray that I suspect is a Miniature Pinscher cuz he's too big to be a Chihuahua.
All were rescues and all unplanned.

Our beautiful Holly getting some exercise and love in the Spring sunshine today. She is a beauty; what kind of snake is she? I have a wild black rat snake who shares my abode at times and keeps down the mouse population. She has access to the minimal attic and I believe she lays eggs up in the ceiling space. Sometimes in odd little hidden spaces, I will find a shed snakeskin, rarely big, usually small, but they never intrude into my space or the cats' area.

She was found abandoned to die with other animals in a house... Polis broke in, and got the animals left to starve sorted. Holly went to a local reptile rescue charity. They got her up to strength, then rehomed her with us, as experienced reptile keepers. Holly has been with us 6 or 7 years now.

Doesn't that scenario - leaving animals to die in a house - just make you sick? My friend who founded a cat rescue group has actually been to one of those houses, saw the authorities sorting out the dead ones, and it is not something she will ever forget.

Our Mouse... Cool. Mouse looks awesome. It's a pretty good thread but one of the posts on this thread is a pure lie that disgusts me. Shouldn't be difficult for most to get which post is a lie.

Nothing to see here... Just our Fatty rewarming up in the sun on my knee after a swim... She is a good girl by the way... We had a funeral for her life-mate Skinny who died a little while ago... We planted Skinny in the lavender bed. She will live on with the fragrance this summer.
