As the presumed final installment in Chris Evans’ eight-year run as Captain America draws near, the Avengers: Endgame star has picked out his most cherished scene from all the Marvel movies, and as it turns, it’s a moment that many a fan would also single out as a highlight.
Evans recently appeared in a video from The Hollywood Reporter that saw the actor answering a series of fan questions. And when asked to name his favorite scene from the franchise, Evans went back to his first collaboration with directors Anthony and Joe Russo:
“I’m partial to that fight scene in the elevator [in Captain America: The Winter Soldier]. That was the first scene we shot in the second Captain America movie. It was my first time working with the Russos. It was the first time where it felt like Cap was kind of on his own. The first Cap movie, you really felt like everybody was holding my hand. The first Avengers movie, I just did my best to not get in the way. The second Cap movie is the one where I kind of really felt, I suppose, pressure. And that elevator fight scene came out really great in my opinion.”

It's a good choice. I'm not surprised he likes it so much.

It's a good choice. I'm not surprised he likes it so much. yeah but it's interesting that it was the first scene filmed for that movie... I don't think I heard that before.
It wasn't the first scene, it wasn't the first fight scene... I wonder why they chose that one to film first?

I think they shoot scenes depending on the actors schedule. I remember hearing all of Scarlett Johansson's scenes during Age of Ultron were shot first because she was pregnant during filming.

Well you can’t argue with him on that.

This is the best scene: It's a good one, but probably not for the reasons you think.

The very fact that he took a super-PED to get his superstrength means he has no integrity. It's no different than Julian PEDelman taking PEDs to gain an unfair advantage. There's no integrity to cheating and taking shortcuts.

They don't have the same rules, so taking Erskine's serum was not 'unfair' because anyone was free to do it if they could figure it out. Always wrong wrong again!
Participating in a crazy experiment, doing whatever it takes to defeat the nazis who have advanced weapons made from the Tesseract...what a jerk Steve was!

Except that Steve Rogers used the super-PEDs to get into the Army and take the rank of Captain away from other more experienced and more qualified officers who had worked their butts off for many years to put themselves next line for a promotion to Captain. So Steve Rogers basically used those super-PEDs to steal a job from someone who was more experienced and more qualified.

Idiot! No one else could have taken the serum and been what he was...that's why he was picked!

All they had to do was take the super-PEDs. 2nd, anybody could've taken the super-PEDs. The super-PEDs were designed to increase a human's strength and stamina beyond that of normal humans. Any human could've taken it and their strength and stamina would've increased beyond that of normal humans. 3rd, yes he did steal another officer's job. He stole the rank of Captain from other more experienced and more qualified officers. These aren't Nazis he stole from. These are American soldiers, officers who had worked their butts off for many years serving Uncle Sam and America to put themselves next in line for a promotion to Captain. Steve Rogers used the super-PED to steal a job from them.

You have a shit personality so you wouldn't understand.
Look how it went with Schmidt. Look how it went with Emily Blonsky. Having strength isn't enough, you have to use it for good. Also Aldrich Killian! He developed the thing for himself but he was as douchey as Schmidt and Blonsky.

Steve Rogers used the super-PED to steal a job from them. He didn't steal anything. He was chosen for the experiment by Dr. Erskine and Colonel Phillips. He was awarded the opportunity by people in charge because they knew he was the right person to give that level of strength to.
Always wrong wrong again!

Come on guys....everyone knows that a patriot that tried to join the War by any means and was given the chance by scientists, who rated his his bravery and integrity over that of more physically capable men, and when he did gain his power insisted he be in the field rather than be a figurehead, is someone that should be looked down on....I mean, he is not for example a true pillar of society, like a pissed off rich vigilante who is mentally scarred by the death of his parents.
