Gutted to hear of the passing of Ranking R.
Another chap who gave a lot of smiles to my musical journeys.
Had the pleasure of seeing him fronting the Beat about six or so years ago in Hertford....a top top night where he was so obviously proud to be sharing the stage with his son, and also had the cheerful grace to sign something onstage for my drunk mate.
And of course...he saved this enervating classic....... For later.
Respect, rest in peace, and thanks, Roger.
