Tatis 2-3 in his debut. Youngest players to play opening day since 1980:
1. Ken Griffey Jr 2. Adrian Beltre 3. Tatis 4. Ivan Rodriguez 5. Garry Sheffield

I would have figured soto from the Nats would have been on that - did he get called up later in the year?
what's the average age of the above?

Harper was booed by Philly fans after his second strikeout. Yup, fine choice you made, Bryce.

Dodgers crank 8 dingers out to set a MLB record for opening day. Against Arizona's starter Grenkie too. Won 12 - 5.

Happy New Year as well, to all baseball fans. This is a grand day, although for me the true Opening Day will be when the Sox open at Fenway. Yes, my favorite team is the Boston Red Sox. And I hate the Yankees, not just individual players. I hate everything about the Yankees. I hate their uniforms, I hate their announcers, I hate their fans, I hate their overblown history. But good luck to your team......
April 16th, the round one...

Is it just me or does baseball change their opening day frequently? Since when does it start on a Thursday? At least there's a lot of day games, even for a Thursday. MLB wanted to nudge the season into March a few more days so as to end the World Series sooner. Blue Jays off to the epitome of their 2019 season - shutting out the opponent for 9 innings, not getting a lick of offense themselves to help out. Vladdy Jr. might not see much to hit in this f'n lineup when he starts next month.

Ho hum. Another day, another piss-beating by the undefeated Cincinnati Reds. Oh man, MLB can put any team against them and the same thing happens. Who was it this time? Only former World Champions the Pittsburgh Pirates. Yawn.
