Not that these actors/actresses have stopped working or disappeared, but it feels like in recent years they're either back in demand or are in more demand than ever before. I don't want to use the term "comeback", but it feels like with recent acclaimed performances and/or career choices these actors and actresses feel like they're back in the limelight again even though they've never totally left.
For example:
Mark Hamill - Star Wars, Knightfall, Child's Play Dolph Lundgren - Creed II, Aquaman

That's a tough one. Michael Keaton is the most recent one.(not really recent because he's been back for 3 years at least). Maybe Ray Stevenson, saw him in Accident Man.

How about Cuba Gooding Jr.? He has followed a decade of box office and/or critical failures with THE BUTLER, SELMA, AMERICAN CRIME STORY and AMERICAN HORROR STORY.

Mel Gibson? Isn't it everyone's dream to appear in a Will Ferrell comedy?

Some critics have made a case for Kevin Costner with films like Draft Day, Hidden Figures, Molly's Game, that Netflix movie he just did with Woody Harrelson, etc.
