Update #1,001: finally got to the #1 slot in the love chat queue, only does a message that says, "There are no agents available to chat with you right now. Please try again later." Count the blue objects in the room, then I suggest heading to the theater and buying your tickets in person.

You waited 47 minutes for a message that says no agents available? The movie will probably be posted online before the end of the first weekend.

I called my cousin who owns a beautician shop about a mile from the theater and told her to buy my tickets in person. She got me tickets for Saturday showing at 11:00pm in 3D the earliest they had available. Fucking hate 3d

Is that how it is in US? Here in UK I'll just show up on the first day, pick a seat and that's about it. If it's anything like Avengers in 2012, not likely. I remember how insane it was. I had pre-bought my ticket at the theater as I did when I knew it was a movie I wanted to see. First show Saturday morning. After it finished, I got my tickets to see it again Sunday And then it went crazy. I had geek friends show up at their theater to see the movie & it was sold out. Theaters were scrambling to add showings. A friend had to buy his ticket for the next weekend. People are spoiler crazy. They know they have to see it first weekend or risk spoilers. I remember on IMDb the usual trolls were creating threads "Coulson dies!"

Final update: Success!!! I got it through the Atom website. Didn't get to use my $5 Fandango promo, but Fandango had an hour wait time, so to hell with them.

Are you seriously going to watch the pirated version and not watch it in the theater?  Doesn't he always claim to do this? I really hate the bootleggers. They do nothing to create the film, but steal the proceeds from the rightful recipients.

Advanced ticket sales never took hold with me as a concept. You can all bet your boots I'm seeing Endgame as soon as possible, but not with tickets bought in advance.

I tried buying tickets yesterday on Atom... and they were sold out for the entire opening weekend. Thursday through Sunday. I mean, I could get seats... like right at the front. But any decent seats are all gone. It's ridiculous, I don't think I've ever seen a presales like this.
