did he play for ricky pitino or before that? all i know about homer drew is this shot by his sonny boy on those teams, i seem to recall that being in the day and i was watching it at the school library and let out a yell and almost got busted by the library for using the av room to watch the tourney :

He was a fan favorite for the Buffalo Braves for a couple years before he got hurt. One of the "what could have beens" for the Braves, if they had had any kind of ownership. Randy Smith, Bob McAdoo, Ernie D., Adrian Dantley and Moses Malone. Not a bad team.

Where are the Lichti fans? Palo Alto?
Why can't I remember this guy? 2336 points in four years at Stanford. Retired as Stanford's leading scorer. Only one NCAA appearance, lost as a #3 seed in the first round to Siena. Then again, I don't catch that many Pac-12 games.

Why can't I remember this guy? 2336 points in four years at Stanford. Retired as Stanford's leading scorer. Only one NCAA appearance, lost as a #3 seed in the first round to Siena. Then again, I don't catch that many Pac-12 games.

Where are the Terry Dischinger fans? Another guy who held the record book at his school, Purdue. Probably broken by Rick Mount (him I've heard of).
Took Lute Olsen long enough to get in. And Larry Johnson. And Calbert Cheaney.
