The new girl is taking over!
Nicely done, young lady.
Very enjoyable game, Mathew.
I grew up loving westerns on TV.

I'm still choking on romy's Bonus Round dust. What kind of sorcery was at play here? Richard Dix? Romy kept hitting the target as though she were Annie Oakley, Jervis.

When I was a little girl, I loved to watch westerns with my dad and brothers. I watched musicals, romantic comedies, and dramas with Mom - my film education was nothing if not well-rounded. Then there were horror movies with my friends. But when I watched westerns, I sat on my rocking horse in the family room (I was no more than 5-6) and when the cowboys sped up on their horses, I started rocking faster to keep up with them. My dad got a real kick out of this. Nice to know that that early movie viewing still comes in handy - and today's quiz brought back some very pleasant memories...but now I am exhausted...

When I saw the bonus round question I had a confident chuckle - I have a list of Wyatt Earp/Doc Holliday movies on the old IMDB.
Naturally I scored zero.

All hail Romy, Cattle Queen of Garth Territory! Thank you, Matt, for weaving a history lesson into a fun and unnervingly challenging Garth Game. It was a perfect April opener and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Enjoy the weekend everyone, but Americans beware. The Taxman cometh.

As was frequently said in C.B. DeMille's epic UNION PACIFIC -- "We've reached the end of track."
And the QM is having a 'John Chisum' moment --

Here are some of the GG staff reporting for work yesterday, eagerly heading for the Garth Corral to face the onslaught of those players posting.
(reading from left to right -- that's Janitor Jerome, Doorman Dwight, Scoreboard Stan and Lawyer Lionel)

At least I got a gold edged point.
I had John Brown the ablodist a bit too late, and Chato, but I thought Montalban was right, I new Alan Ladd played Jim Bowie and Louis Calhern played Buffalo Bill, but I never found the counterparts.
But, That's life!
