Excellent news. After over ten years of build up, the movie needs to be epic in scope and length.

It’s the perfect runtime. I am satisfied.

I hesitate to say this without seeing the movie, but I actually was hoping it'd be longer.

Allow me to be a dissenting voice here. I'm personally fine with anything up to 2.5 hours. But 3 hours is just too long for practically any film.

At the very least they should bring back intermissions in the case of movies with these sorts of run times. Bathroom breaks are a must.

^^^I just get bored after a while when watching a movie, no matter what movie or kind of movie it is.

You nuts probably wish it was five hours long. With an overture scored by Ennio Morricone and an introduction by a CGI Stan Lee voiced by Bruce Dern.

As long as the movie is really engaging, though, I’m cool wit it. I, to this day, have not seen the entirety of Titanic, but I’ll be giving it a chance.

The final hour of Titanic is the best part by far. That movie is still at least 30 minutes too long, however.

I have no problem with long running times. I say bring back the "intermission" still common in stage drama and orchestra concerts. It usually ends up beng a functional beat, giving the audience a chance to think about and mull over the characters.
Maybe I'm getting old, but us geezers gotta stand up once in a while.

I think the right amount of pacing in films that's 3 hours long should be done just right and carefully so the audience won't get bored nor have to take much need bathroom breaks.
