A 59% drop, a bit more than Infinity War's 55% drop. Knew this was going to be front loaded.

Knew this was going to be front loaded. It's not a bad drop though really, it's the same as Avengers of Ultron despite it opening $166 million higher.

I’m bad at this stuff, so what are the odds this makes it to $3 billion?

Plain wild that after only 2 weeks, it's now sitting in the #2 all time worldwide (via boxofficemojo.com).

Actuals went up by $5 million worldwide. and the drop went down a percent. Not that, that really matters in this situation.

If it can last in theatres for another 5-6 months like Avatar did, it can probably reach there.

Made $12.5 million on Tuesday, an 11% jump. Apparently a much smaller jump than other MCU movies received, Infinity War went up 28%.
Now only $43.5 million ahead of The Force Awakens so that gap has dropped by almost half in 2 days.
It's at $2.272 billion worldwide so $516 million away from Avatar.

12.5 from 10.7 is not a 11% jump. It is a 17% increase. I don't know where you get your numbers, but you should change them and look some site that can do simple arithmetic, QueenFanUSA...

Made $8.3 million on Wednesday. About $24 million ahead of The Force Awakens.
And it's at $2.303 billion worldwide. It's expected to pass $2.5 billion by Sunday.

Titanic defeated!

However, defeating Titanic's numbers is not that amazing of a story when you adjust for inflation. (as of 5/9/19)

In other words, Titanic STILL sold WAAAAAAYYYY more tickets. Way more. So... big win? meh

In other words, Titanic STILL sold WAAAAAAYYYY more tickets. Way more. So... big win? meh Titanic has also been rereleased multiple times. And Endgame beat it in less than two weeks. There are so many factors to consider and honestly, who cares? Dollars don't equate to quality, but the speed at which it reached $2B suggests worldwide audiences are heavily invested in the narrative of the MCU. Some critics worry about superhero fatigue, but the box office says otherwise. As a fan, I just want the films to be successful enough to warrant more of them being made. Anything after that is gravy.
