OK. So this thread is a sequel to the Favourite Female Superhero or Action Hero thread I posted a while back. The idea for this one comes courtesy of anthonyrocks.
There have been many different female villains in films and TV shows over the years. Who is your favourite? Choose from any genre, TV or film.
As for myself, at least as regards film villains, I don't really have a SINGLE favourite, so I'm just going to provide a list of the ones that stood out for me personally.
Films:
Pamela Vorhees - Friday the 13th
Alien Queen - Aliens
Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) - Batman Returns
Borg Queen (Alice Krige) - Star Trek: First Contact
Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) - Maleficent
As far as TV shows go, my favourite would probably be:
Winn Adami (Louise Fletcher) - Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Such an ambiguous and complex character.
Runners-up would be:
Drusilla (Juliet Landau) - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Faith (Eliza Dushku) - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Jasmine (Gina Torres) - Angel
Julie Cooper (Melinda Clarke) - The OC
Number Six (Tricia Helfer) - Battlestar Galactica

Maleficent from the original Sleeping Beauty (although Jolie was decent in her film, the movie wasn’t very good)
Annie Wilkes from Misery

Annie Wilkes is an utterly terrifying creation. Gotta disagree with you about Maleficent (2014) though. Found it to be fantastic.

If so you should know that she’s one of the best villains Disney has ever done. I just didn’t care for the direction in the 2014 movie and it kind of ruined the story. I get what they wanted to do something different, but don’t butcher the source material.

I watched the animated movie as a kid back in the 90s and know I liked it, but hardly remember it at all after all these years. Worth a revisit someday, I guess. Personally, I liked the way the 2014 movie went in its own direction rather than opting for the by-the-numbers remake route. Jolie delivered a superb performance. I hadn't appreciated how good of an actress she was until I saw that film.

I should revisit it, but I still don’t like how they changed the story in such a drastic way. It makes her a hero moreso than a dastardly villain. Don’t get me wrong, I like the performance but I don’t like the way her character was entirely written.

I know the movie isn't particularly well-regarded in general, but I still love the way they re-imagined the tale.

In the effort of throwing a couple new ones into the mix...
-Gozer in "Ghostbusters" (you could probably argue she wasn't exactly female, or male, but some sort of god/goddess). She seemed female to me though. Like a mix between Sinead O'Connor and David Bowie, but definitely feminine.
And one of my favorites, Angela Baker from "Sleepaway Camp." I liked both portrayals, but had a young-man's crush on Pamela Springsteen's rendition in the sequels. Even with that 'happy camper' song, she got me good.

I loved Lady Kaede from Ran (1985).
She was fierce. Cold, calculating, cunning, and justified to the point of accepting the consequences of her fate. She knows she did horrible things. She knows that horrible things were done to her, and reconciles the awful chain of events she sets in motion with meticulous spite.
Her decapitation is one of my favorite executions in any movie. It was swift, merciless, justified, and the best part is she welcomed it because she won the part of the battle that mattered to her. Her quest for vengeance brought down the kingdom.
