going by those reviews it seems like it's being violent for the sake of being violent to try and be different from the other ones, but the other ones were quite charming. violence isn't always the answer. I thought the other two Hellboy movies were very badass you have a badass villain in both the first and the second. Kronen and Prince nuada

I wasn't even pleased with the trailers but... Wasn't expecting us to enter Jonah Hex territory here.

Yikes! I knew it was gonna be rotten, but not THAT damn rotten. This is gonna be the new Fant4stic, isn’t it?
Then again, I had my doubts about it from Day 1, so why should I be surprised?

Kronen and Prince nuada They were some of the best superhero films from that first era. They were weird, dark, quirky, and visually imaginative with memorable characters. This seemed like a stitched up cross between Deadpool and Suicide Squad.

People still listen to RT? My thoughts exactly. Especially after the RT and Captain Marvel debacle.

My thoughts exactly. Especially after the RT and Captain Marvel debacle. You really like sticking up for this movie huh? Is that a problem to you? The film may not be a hit with critics due to the extreme violence, gore, and tone. But it'll interest some people who might like it. You don't have to support nor like the film. Sheesh!

No it's fine, I just don't understand why you're so defensive of this disaster of a reboot that no one asked for. If fans are clamering for a third movie you don't give them a reboot.

If fans are clamering for a third movie you don't give them a reboot. The reason why I'm so defensive is mainly due to people already automatically bashing and tearing this film to bits because Ron Perlman is no longer Hellboy and Del Toro is not directing the film. I understand that a lot of fans wanted a third film just have closure. But the reactions over this film having a new actor as Hellboy and the direction is extremely troubling. It's not the reboot's cast and crewmembers' fault that the problems that happened over the years concerning the third Hellboy movie prevented it from being made.

You're right it's not the casts fault, it's who ever decided to make this movie's fault. We don't have to watch it, and we won't and the movie will fail. and it will besmirch the good name of a once loved character

Just let Del Toro make the third movie with Ron Perlman. That's what should've been done in the first place.
