I'm obsessed with Dolores O'Riordan but at least they had a few Cranberries songs pre-recorded before she died.

I just found out recently that Phil Irwin died. Phil was better known as The Whiskey Rebel. He played guitar for (and co-founded) Rancid Vat, a long-running noise punk band from Portland, Oregon. RIP Phil.

The newest person to go forward is singer Benny Mardones who is known for his song named "Into The Night". He was 73 and Parkinson's Disease is what wrapped up his story.
God bless you and his family always!!!

Adam Schlesinger, of Fountains of Wayne, died April 1, 2020.
"Leave the Biker."
He once said in an interview that being a rock star was the most ridiculous thing in the world. Only the good die young....

Sadly 2020 has claimed two other musical legends: Eddie Van Halen and Johnny Nash who gave us the song named "I Can See Clearly Now" back in 1972.
God bless you and their families always!!!
Holly
P.S. It was on this day five years ago that one of my favorites went forward, if only I had officially discovered Billy Joe Royal before then.

The newest person to go forward is country singer Doug Supernaw who had three big songs in the 90s named "Reno", "Not Enough Hours In The Night" and "I Don't Call Him Daddy" which was the only one that went all the way. He was 60 years old and cancer is what gets the evil eye once again.
God bless you and his family always!!!
Holly
P.S. "Reno" was my favorite song from him.

The newest person to go forward is country legend Hal Ketchum.......I was only nine years old when his first song went to radio in 1991. I've loved him ever since "Small Town Saturday Night". I have too many favorites from him to name.
God bless you and his family always!!!
Holly
P.S. 2020 can kiss my Holly hump!!!
