Does Quinn possibly qualify for that Village People title? Seems like a contender...🤔

He collected toy soldiers. Peter Cushing set up his collection of WW 2 soldiers in 1960 at a London exhibit.
Heard he and Jack Palance has a rivalry as they often competed for roles.
I liked BARABBAS.

They played the same role in "Requiem for a Heavyweight" in the Playhouse 90 TV episode in 1957 and the 1962 movie version of the story.

The Message "In accordance with Muslim beliefs, Mohammed could not be depicted on screen nor could his voice be heard. This rule extended to his wives, his daughters and his sons-in-law. This left Mohammed's uncle as the central character (played by Anthony Quinn). In the completed film, actors speak directly to the camera and then nod to unheard dialogue." "This epic historical drama chronicles the life and times of Muhammad and serves as an introduction to early Islamic history."

in "Lion of the Desert" 1980, he plays a Libyan Arab leading a revolution against Italian forces in the early 1930's. Side note - I have seen actual Al Qaeda propaganda films that used images of Anthony Quinn from this movie to inspire their followers.

Fine actor. He maybe lacked subtlety,--you could nearly always see it coming with him--but when well cast, he could be excellent.
